Jack Rudd - now resident in North Devon - had a very successful season playing for Bristol 2 in Division 3 of the National chess League.
He played eight games, winning four, drawing four and losing none!
Unfortunately, Bristol 2 were not quite so successful, finishing in the middle of the table after winning four matches, drawing one and losing three.
Jack is a familiar (and winning) figure at many local tournaments as well as being the organiser of Yoevil Congress. Yoevil is a new venue on the circuit and this year will be the third event. Please lend your support by entering - you will not be disappointed.
Following are the eight games that Jack played in the National League. Look for the cracking finish to the last game.
